Is "The Others" okay for an 11 year old?

If you are going to let her watch a horror movie then this one definitely isn't the worst. There is no blood or gore. However, I found the movie to be more chilling than a "horror" movie. It's a good movie with a good twist that she would understand. Unfortunately, no one on here could really tell you if your daughter would be frightened because we don't know her. The best thing to do is rent the movie and watch it first. Also, check out The Village. That movie has a couple of scenes that make you jump, but nothing gory and it has a good storyline.
