Are we able to respect honest criticism anymore? Or have we gone too far over the partisan edge as a people?

Were the criticism honest, yes. People who do their homework, pay attention to the facts and think about the issues can both respect and deliver honest criticism. However, there is a faction that seems to have lost the capacity for rational thinking and their criticism is programmed by partisan pundits. There is yet hope that the scales will fall from their eyes and they will regain true insight.
