My e-mails are bouncing. According to the message, my yahoo account is closed when it is not. Why?

I use a Mac e-mail package and e-mail for my work, doug@ecologynorth.ca. Everything was working well till Jan. 31 then problems arose, I wasn't getting any e-mails.
