MUSEUMS IN WASHINGTON D.C. HELP!!! TEN POINTS!!?

I live in the area and was down at the museums today. They are perfectly fine and operating as usual. Being a local, I feel like I would have heard something about the museums shutting down. They aren't, trust me. The government would not let our capital city's best attractions fall to that.
