My boyfriend has a huge lump under his chin?

Hes gotta get checked for cancer...But on the bright side it could be an abcess/infection...caused by the kemo or perhaps a tooth ...Either way this "abcess" is affecting his goiter/thyroid and may be the cause of metabolic upset...Is he sleeping more/less? energy more/ less? The spot that this is in is bad business for metabolic system regulation.
