How much money is Social Services in Texas getting for all those kids they took?
Actually, you're wrong. The majority of the funding for Social Services is paid out of the Property Taxes in the state of Texas. They get SOME federal funding, but it is NOT per child. It is a % that they apply for every year, by submitting a budget to Congress, and getting it approved (and it is always lowered a considerable amount). Part of the petition for that money is based on the total population of the state, but NOT by the number of children removed. I suggest you do some research, because what you wrote is NOT true in the least. For more information, please contact your local congressional office. All of this information is available under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
